About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding Nurse to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Safeguarding Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, particularly those who are vulnerable or at risk of harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to healthcare professionals on safeguarding matters, promoting a culture of best practices throughout the Trust.
  • Manage the sharing of confidential and sensitive information with external agencies, while handling complex information within the Safeguarding domain.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver high-quality safeguarding training programs, ensuring compliance with national and local training targets.
  • Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of safeguarding training programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Empower frontline staff to effectively address safeguarding issues, aligning with best practices, policies, and procedures.
