Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Finance Administrator to join our client's team in the Salford Quays area. The successful candidate will assist the Finance Manager with various tasks, including financial data entry, staff training, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Match purchase invoices to purchase orders
- Input all purchase invoices
- Provide staff training, including CSCS and SMSTS
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Manage wages, holiday/absent logs, and vehicle maintenance
- Oversee new phone contracts and utilities
- Order PPE, uniforms, and stationery
- Perform PAT testing and assist with IT issues
- Support the Managing Director as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Organized and reliable with basic Excel and Word skills
- Experience with Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential
