King's Lynn, Norfolk, United Kingdom Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust Full time

Position Overview

This role includes a 'New Starter' incentive of £15,000 distributed over three years as a retention bonus, along with a £12,000 relocation support package.

Additionally, a loyalty scheme bonus of £2,500 is available over the following five years of service.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is funded at an elevated level, allowing for the accumulation of annual funding for up to three years to facilitate access to higher-cost development opportunities.

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a Senior Psychiatric Consultant to become part of our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in the West of Norfolk.

We seek an individual who will assume a pivotal role within the multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical leadership and guidance in the management of individuals with intricate needs.

This is a well-established position; the vacancy has arisen due to the current Consultant transitioning to another role within the Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of the working-age patient demographic.

The individuals we serve, along with their families and caregivers, are central to all our endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

This position is for a Consultant to primarily lead the West of Norfolk, based in Kings Lynn, while also providing advisory and supervisory support to the crisis pathway in the southern regions and central areas of Norfolk. This support is part of a restructured crisis service model designed to ensure senior supervision is consistently available as required.

The West CRHT operates from a facility that also accommodates an acute admission ward and various outpatient services serving the region.

The West team collaborates closely with the mixed-gender acute ward and the Mental Health Liaison Services across all acute hospitals in the area.

About Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust
