Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing payroll, purchase ledger, and bank reconciliations while supporting the preparation of management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll, purchase ledger, and bank reconciliations while supporting management accounts preparation.
  • Be flexible and responsive in assisting colleagues with tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, invoicing, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
  • Support the finance team in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Accounts Assistant / Payroll Administrator experience.
  • Experience working in payroll / bank reconciliations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
