About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Pathology Analyst to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in supporting the digital pathology tracking and reporting system, as well as planning, delivering, and maintaining integrations between our system and external parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing internal support for the digital pathology tracking and reporting system, ensuring seamless operation and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Scope, plan, deliver, and maintain integrations between our digital pathology tracking and reporting system and external parties, including NHS Trusts.
  • Develop technical requirements documentation, design integrations, and manage governance processes, including HL7 interfaces and approval processes.
  • Manage the deployment and integration of new digital capabilities into our business, ensuring they are sensitive to and compatible with our operations.
  • Define and create a system business readiness plan, considering IT deployment, data migration, and business activities required to integrate new digital processes or jobs into our environment.
  • Assist the user community in providing transition support and change planning, and liaise with the project team.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of histology and cytology laboratory and process workflows.
Requirements
  • Experience in digital pathology, particularly in histology and cytology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of histology and cytology laboratory and process workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare technologies, such as LIMS, LIS, Digital Pathology, and MEDITECH.
  • Understanding and management of HL7 interfaces.
  • Experience in planning and implementing organizational systems integrations.
