Role Overview: IT Support Specialist Required

Are you enthusiastic about technology and customer support? Do you excel in a vibrant, fast-moving workplace? We are looking for a committed IT Support Specialist to become a part of our Digital Services team. In this position, you will serve as the approachable representative of our IT Service Desk, assisting users with their technology-related inquiries. Your outstanding communication abilities will be crucial as you address incidents, manage service requests, and provide essential information to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently document and route IT incidents to appropriate second-line support services Act as the primary contact for approximately 10,000 users, including staff and key organizational members Provide in-person support at our designated service area, distributing equipment and coordinating appointments with technical experts Record and manage incidents through various channels including phone, in-person interactions, or our Service Management system Collaborate closely with the Service Management Lead to ensure effective operations

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSE level education or equivalent ITIL Foundation Certificate is a plus Proven experience in a Service Desk role within a busy digital environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Service Management tools

Essential Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism Strong analytical skills for assessing and directing incidents appropriately Independent worker with a collaborative team spirit
