Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our client, a local NHS Trust in Liverpool. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional cleaning services in all areas of the hospital, adhering to established procedures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals responsibly, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver services as directed by policies, procedures, and national standards, under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Develop a friendly and approachable manner when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors, demonstrating a sensitive and caring attitude.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and empathetic approach when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety protocols.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • A 30-hour per week schedule, Monday to Friday.
