Commercial Manager

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Project Commercial Manager to join our Environment, Water & Energy (EWE) Business Line. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing project commercial outcomes and driving commercial best practice and learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers, directors, and lead verifiers to ensure successful project delivery
- Apply contract management expertise to enhance project performance, focusing on critical aspects like insurances, programme, delay damages, and key contract dates
- Oversee contract administration platforms, such as CEMAR and Asite, to manage client communications and instructions
- Participate in project reviews, commercial discussions with clients and suppliers, and ensure the execution of action items
- Mentor technical staff to heighten their commercial awareness and expertise
- Deliver results by reducing disallowed costs and efficiently managing expenditures from AECOM and its subcontractors
- Energy transition projects, including green hydrogen/ammonia, offshore/onshore wind, solar farms, battery storage, and pumped hydro schemes
- Water engineering, water scarcity, digital tools, environment impact, and biodiversity net gain
- International projects
- Degree in engineering/quantity surveying (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in project, commercial, and risk management, including client-facing roles
