Project Commercial Manager - Environment & Sustainability

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Project Commercial Manager to join our Environment, Water & Energy (EWE) Business Line. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing project commercial outcomes and driving commercial best practice and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, directors, and lead verifiers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Apply contract management expertise to enhance project performance, focusing on critical aspects like insurances, programme, delay damages, and key contract dates
  • Use contract administration platforms to oversee and act on client communications and instructions
  • Participate in project reviews, commercial discussions with clients and suppliers, and ensure the execution of action items
  • Mentor technical staff to heighten their commercial awareness and expertise
  • Work to reduce disallowed costs and efficiently manage expenditures from AECOM and its subcontractors
Scope of Projects:
  • Energy transition projects, including green hydrogen/ammonia, offshore/onshore wind, solar farms, battery storage, and pumped hydro schemes
  • Water engineering, water scarcity, digital tools, environment impact, and biodiversity net gain
  • International projects
Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering/quantity surveying (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in project, commercial, and risk management, including client-facing roles
