About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Policy, Communications and Strategy to join our team at the National Children's Bureau. As a key member of our Enhanced Strategic Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our policy and communications strategy to drive positive change for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead our policy and communications work, harnessing our specialisms to inform and influence decision-makers across the UK.
  • Lead a multi-faceted team of policy and communications staff, working across all NCB teams and with strategic external partners to develop ambitious policy, public affairs and communication plans.
  • Hold overall operational responsibility for the implementation of NCB's corporate strategy, leading annual operational plans and impact reporting to ensure we remain focused on our longer-term strategic goals.
