We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Gloucester. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and ensuring students are focused on the main task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Help students with their learning, including reading, writing, and math
  • Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with the teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students' progress
Requirements
  • Caring and engaging attitude
  • Ability to calmly deal with stressful situations
  • Previous experience working in a school environment or with children (not essential)
  • Proactive in supporting the class teacher

Working Hours

08:30 – 15:30 – Monday to Friday (part time available)
