Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Pain Management Centre is staffed by a team of 13 consultants and a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, all working within a state-of-the-art facility recognized nationally for its excellence. This role offers unique opportunities to engage with patients suffering from complex pain conditions, including persistent abdominal and pelvic pain, neuropathic pain, cancer-related pain, and facial pain, as well as managing inpatients with intricate medical needs. Additionally, the centre features an active neuromodulation service.

Our facilities include twenty-four operating theatres, and we specialize in various surgical disciplines, including bariatrics, gastrointestinal, orthopaedics, urology, head and neck, paediatric, thoracic, and endocrine surgery. The labour ward is equipped to handle 6000 deliveries annually, with a focus on high-risk medical patients. A dedicated regional block room ensures high-quality analgesia and serves as a hub for education and research initiatives.
