Cardiac Anaesthesia Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anaesthesia Consultant to join our team at King\u0027s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiac anaesthesia team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver cardiac anaesthesia services to patients, including daytime cover and on-call duties.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our anaesthesia services, including business planning and project management.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to junior medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with Trust infection prevention and control policies.
- Full registration with the GMC and completion of a subspecialty training programme in anaesthesia or equivalent experience.
- Advanced cardiac training and experience in TOE (transoesophageal echocardiography).
- Experience in day-to-day organisation of pain and anaesthetic services in a busy NHS hospital.
