About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Restructuring Director to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our advisory team, you will play a crucial role in helping entrepreneurial businesses navigate today's changing world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on business restructuring and insolvency to clients across various industries.
  • Lead and manage complex restructuring projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to develop and implement business recovery plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification (ICAEW/ACCA) with an appropriate amount of experience.
  • Insolvency qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and IPS.
  • Excellent written and numerical skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
  • Operational experience of planning for and leading trading appointments.
  • Experience of planning for and engaging with senior level management and their stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable team leadership and mentoring skills.
