About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Executive to join our team at Sedulo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable events for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a world-class service to clients and staff, including greeting and welcoming, offering drinks, and building rapport.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and requests, ensuring all meetings are catered for.
  • Ensure our spaces have a welcoming atmosphere and are kept clean and tidy.
  • Work with local suppliers and businesses to create links between Sedulo and the wider community.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team and Heads of Departments to respond to hospitality requests.
  • Develop ideas for future team socials, wellbeing, and external events with the Marketing and People & Culture teams.
  • Take responsibility for reporting repair/maintenance issues and coordinating efficient repairs.
  • Manage food and beverage operations, including stock levels, ordering, and planning catering for special events.
  • Ensure hygiene standards and health and safety are upheld.
  • Provide general catering for the office team.
  • Conceive and suggest new ideas for events and hospitality.

Requirements:

  • An enthusiastic and friendly personality with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in bar, restaurant, hotel, or events, with hosting/reception work essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Impeccable time management skills and ability to work varied hours.
  • Project management skills and confidence in delegating tasks.
  • Confident speaking to VIP/High wealth clients and maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of Social Media platforms and content creation preferable.
  • Efficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
