About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Dish Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our events and banqueting operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of menus for events and banqueting operations
  • Manage and maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality control
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menus, ensuring local and seasonal produce is utilized
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations
  • Manage kitchen staff and provide guidance and training to ensure excellent service standards
  • Conduct regular inventory and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Participate in menu planning and development, ensuring dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Knowledge of local and seasonal produce, with the ability to create menus that showcase these ingredients
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
