Job Summary

Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced scientist to join our team as a Senior In Vivo Pharmacology Research Scientist. This role will be responsible for managing the design, execution, and interpretation of results from in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of Bicycle Radio Conjugates (BRCTM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and interpret results from in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of BRCTM
  • Manage in vivo pharmacology research through a network of Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and academic collaborations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines, including biology, Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), translational sciences, and toxicology, to drive decisions
  • Effectively document and communicate results company-wide in diverse settings, including project team meetings and internal scientific forums
  • Lead in vivo pharmacology sample management
  • Author publications in peer-reviewed journals and represent Bicycle at conferences with scientific presentations
Requirements
  • Education in a biological sciences field with extensive industrial experience
  • Hands-on experience using multiple types of in vivo oncology models
  • Experience in the evaluation and development of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Experience in radiochemistry and radiolabeling of compounds
  • Experience in pre-clinical biodistribution and efficacy assessment of radiopharmaceuticals using techniques such as PET and/or SPECT imaging, and ex-vivo biodistribution
  • Working knowledge of dosimetry
  • Experience in managing external work/collaborations
  • Strong background in cancer biology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multiple collaborative and multidisciplinary teams
  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
