Audit Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Audit Quality Directorate (AQD) in an exciting period of growth and expansion. As a key member of our Methodology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our audit quality strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute audit and audit-related projects, including CASS, with a focus on the asset management and capital markets sector.
- Develop and implement audit methodologies and best practices to drive quality and efficiency in our audit processes.
- Collaborate with Audit Advisory Directors and other stakeholders to identify and address technical issues and areas for improvement.
- Provide training and coaching to peers and junior staff on audit methodologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of our audit quality strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
- ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification.
- Significant current hands-on practical asset management and capital markets audit/CASS experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in training design, development, and delivery.
- Ability to think outside the box and pioneer in using existing methodology and best practice to develop new solutions.
