Position Overview

The Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Clinical Education Specialist to enhance the quality of care provided to our residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all clinical personnel, including Carers, Healthcare Assistants, Senior Healthcare Assistants, and Nurses, are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training and development of clinical staff, ensuring they meet the required competencies to provide high-quality care.
  • Support the management team in organizing mandatory training sessions, maintaining comprehensive training records, and promoting attendance.
  • Deliver effective training programs that facilitate the professional growth of staff, particularly in areas such as Tracheostomy, Suctioning, Ventilator, and Cough Assist competencies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and Learning & Development Manager to create and refine competency documentation and training pathways that align with best practices.
  • Ensure that all clinical staff are proficient and competent in their roles, maintaining the dignity and privacy of the individuals in our care.
  • Identify and promote learning opportunities for staff development, both internally and externally, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
