About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ESG Finance Associate to join our dynamic team at DiverseJobsMatter. As a key member of our Social, Sustainable and Green Finance practice, you will play a critical role in delivering complex and innovative transactions that address sustainability challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of finance and project finance transactions, liaising with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as needed.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of our business and market, identifying opportunities to build and strengthen key relationships with clients.
  • Develop and mentor junior associates, trainees, and paralegals in the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the transaction process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in ESG finance, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years PQE in finance or project finance transactions, with a strong understanding of ESG principles and practices.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, with a proven ability to analyze complex financial data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of the business.
