About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Performance and Communications Lead within the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) Wales Service Delivery Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and interpreting performance data to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote the agency's work.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on performance management and communication best practices.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to achieve agency goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in performance management and communication, with a strong understanding of best practices and industry trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
