Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join our team at Synchro. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT network and infrastructure support for our Build and Test department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Active Directory Users and Computers to ensure seamless user access and authentication.
  • Oversee scheduled reboots for Windows updates during testing downtime to minimize disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot Windows issues on test cell servers and computers to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Maintain and map network connectivity, tracking additions and removals for an accurate network overview.
  • Assign computer names and IP addresses to new devices, adding them to the domain to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Maintain backups of test cell computers for disaster recovery to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Support security measures on IT and OT equipment to protect against cyber threats and ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements
  • Strong networking knowledge and experience with legacy software.
  • Familiarity with AVL PUMA and Horiba STARS systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity is advantageous.
