Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Strategic Weapons Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing requirements, processing change requests, and undertaking activities to support team deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements in DOORS and process change requests
  • Engage with stakeholders and undertake activities to support team deliverables
  • Review UK Platform System design documents to ensure SWS interfaces are captured correctly

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of DOORS and Systems Requirements Engineering verification and validation experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Dreadnought design policies for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of the Trident SWS and associated SW competencies
