Position Overview

Salt is in search of a skilled Freelance Procurement Communications Specialist to assist one of our prominent FMCG clients on a temporary contract basis. This role, spanning approximately 3-4 months, focuses on effectively managing and conveying procurement initiatives, refining and disseminating both internal and external corporate communications, and aiding team leaders in crafting comprehensive change management strategies, delivering essential messages, and producing engaging content that aligns with the overarching communications framework.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute communication plans aimed at improving awareness and involvement in procurement initiatives across the organization.
  • Generate and circulate internal communications, which may include reports, newsletters, presentations, and updates.
  • Collaborate with procurement and various departments to collect pertinent information and guarantee precise and prompt communication.
  • Evaluate data and produce insights to facilitate strategic decision-making processes.
  • Compile and present comprehensive reports regarding internal performance metrics, supplier interactions, and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Support the creation of training resources.
  • Oversee internal and external communications concerning policies, procedures, and updates.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all communication efforts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Analyst, Corporate Communications Analyst, or in a comparable position.
  • Proficient in delivering communications at a global level; prior experience in multinational corporations is advantageous.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Robust analytical skills with the capacity to interpret intricate procurement data.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
