Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the EMEALA data centre colocation vertical.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships with colocation customers, consulting engineers, and design build contractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to influence specifications and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across all departments.
- Support the pre-bid, bid, and post-bid processes to ensure successful delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving HVAC sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Ability to adapt and flex while working on influencing and guiding customers with a consultative approach.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment as an individual contributor.
- Fluent language skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling HVAC solutions within the data centre/colocation industry.
- An existing network/relationships within the data centers industry (consulting engineers, contractors and colocation operators), specifically around OFCI/CFCI programs.
- Prior experience with Salesforce, Altify and day-to-day software solutions (Outlook, Office, Teams etc.).
