Location: Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom

PAYE Direct Rates: £280.00 per day worked

Hours: Monday to Friday 8 hours per day

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team at Integrate Engineering Resources Ltd. in a flagship Energy from Waste (EfW) facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facility, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.

  2. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, producing detailed reports and ensuring lessons learned are communicated and implemented to prevent future occurrences.

  3. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits, including regular reporting to regulatory bodies to maintain a strong reputation.

  4. Deliver HSE training programs to staff, contractors, and visitors, fostering a strong safety culture and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

  5. Provide guidance and support to all employees on HSE matters, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

  6. Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate risks associated with the facility's operations, minimizing the risk of accidents and environmental damage.

  7. Act as a key contact in emergency situations, providing leadership and coordination to ensure a swift and effective response.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.

  2. Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within the energy from waste, renewable energy, or heavy industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
