Job Overview

At SGS, we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety professional to join our team as a Compliance Officer - HSE. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take the next step in their career and contribute to creating safe and compliant workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and facilitate HSE compliant activities on site
* Lead or contribute to investigations into hazards and dangerous occurrences
* Review and facilitate comprehensive incident recording
* Initiate and coordinate the development and review of policies and procedures
* Work in partnership with Business Partners and site managers
* Complete toolbox talks
* Maintain and deliver the internal QHSSE audit programmes

Requirements

* NEBOSH Certificate, British Safety Council Diploma in Safety Management, NVQ4 in Occupational Safety & Health Management or equivalent
* Relevant Internal Auditor qualification or experience
* Full UK Driving License

Experience Required

* Operating within a diverse service organization
* Working within certified Management Systems
* Inspection and auditing
