Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to join our team as a Compliance Officer - HSE Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a background in high hazardous environments or chemical and gas management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate HSE compliant activities undertaken on site
  • Lead or contribute to investigations into hazards and dangerous occurrences
  • Review and facilitate comprehensive incident recording
  • Initiate & coordinate the development and review of policies and procedures
  • Work in partnership with Business Partners and site managers
  • Complete Tool box talks
  • Maintain and deliver the internal QHSSE audit programmes

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Certificate, British Safety Council Diploma in Safety Management, NVQ4 in Occupational Safety & Health Management or equivalent
  • Relevant Internal Auditor qualification or experience - 9001 / 45000 / 17025
  • Full UK Driving License

Working Environment

The successful candidate will be working within a diverse service organization, operating within certified Management Systems, and conducting inspections and auditing.
