Contract Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Simulation Engineer to join our team at Innova Solutions International for a twelve-month contract role.

About the Role

As a Power Systems Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and simulating engine and hybrid power system models to optimize engine performance and emissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement 0D and 1D engine and hybrid power system models to simulate engine control systems
  • Integrate, evaluate, and optimize novel engine and hybrid components and subsystems using 1D power system and machine models
  • Compare and validate simulation results with physical power system test data
  • Propose, research, develop, implement, and test new sub-models for improved prediction of engine performance and emissions
  • Report simulation results and provide recommendations to improve engine performance or resolve power system performance issues
  • Collaborate with universities to advance predictive capability of simulation tools for engines and hybrid power systems

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master's degree in automotive, engines, hybrid vehicles, combustion, or thermodynamics
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or Python programming languages
  • Experience with 0D/1D hybrid vehicle system simulation
