Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Simulation Engineer to join our team at Innova Solutions International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative power systems simulation models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 0D or 1D engine and hybrid power system models to simulate engine or powertrain control systems.
  • Integrate, evaluate, and optimize novel engine and hybrid components and subsystems using 1D power system and machine models.
  • Compare and validate simulation results with physical power system test data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Propose, research, develop, implement, and test new sub-models for improved prediction of engine performance and emissions from 1D simulation tools.
  • Report simulation results and provide recommendations to improve engine performance or resolve power system performance issues.
  • Collaborate with universities to advance the predictive capability of simulation tools for engines and hybrid power systems.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in automotive, engines, hybrid vehicles, combustion, or thermodynamics.
  • Proficiency in C or C++, Python programming languages.
  • Experience with 0D / 1D Engine System Simulation and 0D / 1D Hybrid Vehicle System Simulation.
  • Familiarity with GT Power, GT Suite, AVL Boost, AVL Cruise, and Ricardo Wave simulation tools.
