Job Overview

The TE Connectivity Operations Excellence Manager will lead the execution of the TE Operation's Advantage (TEOA) strategy transformational program, driving sustainable execution and strategy achievement. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean practices and Kaizen events to drive operational productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Set strategy and plan for the achievement of the full transformational program, ensuring alignment with ADM BU region practices and corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate and drive behaviours and values throughout the plant, working with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the overall strategy.
  • Foster the adoption of continuous improvement as a way of life, developing and coaching talent to establish the Lean culture in the plant.
  • Lead, guide, and support the transformation with Continuous Improvement activities, providing demonstratable benefits to overall Operational Productivity.
  • Act as a coach and mentor for all employees, facilitating training to accelerate knowledge of Lean practices across all functions and levels of the organization.
  • Regularly report out progress, ensuring full alignment with ADM BU region practices and corporate initiatives.
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting of TEOA metrics in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) tool.

  • Solid experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering with Project Management skills being advantageous.
  • Proven background in implementing Lean practices and facilitating Kaizen events in high-mix-low volume manufacturing environments.
  • Lean, 6Sigma, Shaining/Red X or similar qualifications.
  • Analytically, data-driven problem-solving mindset for effective decision making, ability to understand statistical and graphical data.
  • SAP, PowerBi, Microsoft 365.
  • 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade 7 or equivalent experience.
