About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Manager - Transformational Leader will play a key role in driving operational excellence and process improvement within TE Connectivity's manufacturing facility in Swindon. This exciting full-time opportunity will give the ideal candidate a fantastic chance to create positive change and make a lasting impact on the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the execution of the Transformational Program (TEOA Star Level progression) and drive sustainable execution of strategy.
  • Set the strategy and plan for the achievement of full transformational program, and be accountable for following up actions and driving results.
  • Model people behaviors to develop talent and create a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead, guide, and support the transformation with Continuous Improvement activities, and act as a coach and mentor for all employees.
  • Facilitate training to accelerate knowledge of Lean practices across all functions and levels of the organization.
  • Provide demonstrable benefits to overall Operational Productivity through facilitation of Kaizen events and improvements of processes, products, and/or behaviors.
  • Regularly report out progress and ensure full alignment with ADM BU region practices and corporate initiatives.

  • A hands-on practical approach when required.

  • Living the TE Values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, inclusion, and innovation.
  • Solid experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering with Project Management skills being advantageous.
  • Proven background in implementing Lean practices and facilitating Kaizen events in high-mix-low volume manufacturing environments.
  • Lean, 6Sigma, Shaining/Red X or similar qualifications.
  • Analytically, data-driven problem-solving mindset for effective decision making.
  • SAP, PowerBi, Microsoft 365.
  • 5 GCSE's including Maths and English at Grade 7 or equivalent experience.
