Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of IT for a prestigious organization undergoing a digital transformation. As a key member of the strategic leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the IT department and driving digital innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT Strategy and Operations: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and drives digital transformation.
  • Manage IT Department: Lead a team of IT professionals and provide inspirational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and develop IT solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Manage IT Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and Implement IT Policies: Establish and maintain IT policies and procedures that ensure the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data.
  • Manage IT Budget: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that IT resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of IT professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with experience in IT service management, IT project management, and IT service delivery.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop IT solutions that meet those needs.
