About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Manager to join our Hybrid Cloud Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of a seamless procurement service, enabling our teams to access the contracts, tools, and products they need to drive a once-in-a-generation digital transformation.

About the Job:

This is a new role in our Hybrid Cloud Services team, and you will be responsible for developing and implementing new processes to manage our governance, financial, and commercial activity in line with supplier management standards. You will work closely with Commercial Business Partners on the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring contracts deliver cost savings and value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with a range of stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.
  • Drive and form a network of key contacts to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement new processes to manage governance, financial, and commercial activity in line with supplier management standards.
  • Work closely with Commercial Business Partners to ensure contracts deliver cost savings and value for money.
  • Ensure colleagues and stakeholders have a clear understanding of objectives, activities, and time-frames.
  • Commercially and financially minded, with experience of achieving value for money.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £43,347, a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28%, and a generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. Location:

You will be based in one of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Newcastle, or Manchester, whichever is most convenient for you. We work a hybrid model, with some time spent working at home and some time collaborating face-to-face in a hub.
