About the Role:

  • Lead the IT Transformation function, working closely with direct reports to drive systems, infrastructure, and IT service changes.
  • Report to the IT Director to line manage and provide inspirational leadership to colleagues in the IT department.
  • Provide consultancy and support the business through the effective use of IT systems managed by the UK IT Function.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues, central group IT, and third-party system vendors to support and develop the existing application base, including warehouse management, ERP, Finance, HR, T&A, and payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party MSP and ISP to support and develop infrastructure and support capabilities across the business.
  • Provide expertise in business systems change projects to enhance functionality in existing systems and/or roll out new systems.
  • Review changing business needs and, where appropriate, progress change requests through the relevant business owner and/or suppliers.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally with knowledge in ERP, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure services, including LAN, WAN, Datacentre, and Public Cloud.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex information and requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and make confident decisions.
  • Multiple sites experience, with international experience an advantage, particularly working within a larger group.
