Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Professional to join our team at Superbeo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Observation and Reporting: Observe each resident on a continuing basis, alert to changes in mental and physical wellbeing, and notify the Supervisor of pertinent observations.
- Medication Administration: Accurately receive, transcribe, and carry out physician's orders, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and make proper documentation via a computerized system.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in accordance with licensing requirements, assign and measure nursing staff resident care consistent with abilities, job description, and scope of practice.
- Communication and Collaboration: Accompany physicians on resident rounds to address medical needs, facilitate communication during 60-day reviews, and communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns and problems.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete 24-hour reports, check new orders, maintain consistent communication with the Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor, and attend mandatory staff/educational meetings.
- Quality Assurance: Follow State and Federal Regulations regarding the storage, usage, and documentation of controlled medications, and assist with the orientation of new nursing employees.
- Experience: 3 years of current experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on gerontology and rehabilitation.
- Certifications: Current BLS (AHA) certification and a valid New Hampshire RN license.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in electronic documentation systems.
- Availability: Willingness to work all holidays, including weekends, and to float to other units as needed.
