Job Title: Old Age Psychiatry Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Old Age Psychiatry Specialist to join our team at Medacs. As an Old Age Psychiatry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with dementia, depression, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Prescribe and manage medication, as well as provide guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
- 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
