Job Title: Helpline Counsellor

Archer Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Helpline Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will provide immediate emotional support and guidance to individuals in need via our 24/7 helpline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical assessments and offer appropriate referrals to ensure individuals receive the necessary support.
  • Complete risk assessments and adhere to BACP ethical guidelines to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Document information accurately and maintain records in our company database to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Handle a variety of issues, including distressed or at-risk individuals, with empathy and professionalism.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance counselling skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Maintain an active caseload of video counselling clients and provide regular check-ins to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a level 4 diploma in counselling and relevant experience in the field.
  • BACP registered member to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide a high level of support to our clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask to manage multiple clients and priorities.
  • Motivation to meet deadlines and targets to ensure the success of our support services.
  • High computer literacy and experience with telephony and CRM systems to efficiently manage client interactions.
