Job Summary:

High Finance (UK) Limited T/A HFG is seeking a highly commercial Finance Business Partner to bolster the broader Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Underwriters and senior management to support the production of the business plan and focus on value-added analytics to inform commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning: Collaborate with Underwriters and senior management to develop and maintain accurate and timely business plans, including quarterly reforecasts, strategic business forecasts, and annual business plans.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making, including identification of drivers, trends, and areas of opportunity or remedial action.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CUO's, Group MI, and divisional CFO's, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and drive forward process simplification and improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and support to others within the team, including performance of ad-hoc project and support work as required.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
  • Commercial Awareness: Excellent commercial awareness of the financial drivers behind the non-life insurance market.
  • Analytical Skills: Sound knowledge of problem analysis and decision analysis, as well as an aptitude with various planning software.
