Corporate Tax Associate Director

Our National Corporate Tax Service Line

We work with clients across a broad range of business types, including mid-market enterprises, multinational corporations, and small to medium-sized businesses. We manage their tax affairs on the compliance side, while also acting as expert advisors when planning matters arise.

We offer a range of services, including due diligence, transactions, restructuring, and innovation reliefs. Our team is dedicated to providing expert advice and guidance to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax issues and achieve their business goals.

About the Role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Associate Director to join our team in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, or Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will work on a varied portfolio of clients and groups, some with complex tax affairs. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent client service and identifying further work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake complex compliance work, reviewing work undertaken by junior team members and working on advisory projects.
  • Assist senior staff with involvement in business development opportunities, proposals, and networking events.
  • Manage assignments in accordance with the firm's standard procedures and confirm arrangements with the client.
  • Act as a line manager for staff, including taking an active role in their development and appraisals.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with solid corporate tax experience and effective team leadership skills. You should have an interest in and/or aptitude for business development. Opportunities for progression are open based on merit, with excellent support for training and development needs. CTA qualified or proven tax advisory experience is preferred.
