Nursery Management Trainee
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursery Management Trainee. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in nursery management while working closely with experienced leaders in the field.

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Location: Various locations

Contract: 12-month fixed term with potential for a permanent management position

Working Pattern: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) with part-time options available

Salary: Competitive

Role Overview:

As we grow, we are looking for a Nursery Management Trainee to join our pioneering team. In this position, you will collaborate with current managers and our educational leadership team to prepare for the management of a new nursery facility.

We are in search of individuals who are eager to advance into leadership roles and are enthusiastic about learning the intricacies of running a high-quality nursery. Ideal candidates will possess a genuine passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to our mission and values.

Your training will encompass hands-on management experience in a specific environment, complemented by tailored training, coaching, and a structured program designed to equip you for your own nursery management role.

Our program will allocate time each week for focused training, alongside informal mentoring and coaching throughout your journey. We anticipate that you will transition into a managerial role, with an enhanced salary and opportunities, within twelve months or sooner. Our commitment is to provide you with comprehensive support and guidance as you progress to management and beyond.

  • Fostering social awareness through interactions with peers
  • Ensuring that learning environments are safe and conducive to child development
  • Upholding high standards of nursery operations to parents, staff, and visitors
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's development and sharing insights with parents and guardians

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience as a deputy manager, class teacher, or room leader
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Understanding of child safety and welfare, including safeguarding protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
