Job Title: HR Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Coordinator to join our team at Skanska. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our employees, ensuring that all HR processes are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a customer-focused first line response to the business through the HR helpdesk, responding to a wide range of HR queries and issues.
  • Deliver all HR processes relating to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Undertake project work within the team, working under minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.
  • Work closely with other teams, including HR Business Partners, HR Data specialists, Payroll, Pensions, Occupational Health, Car Fleet, Resourcing, and Rewards & Benefits teams.
  • Participate in projects as requested, including continuous improvement to the service we offer.
  • Support the Risk & Compliance Team with processing DSAR requests.
  • Produce relevant documentation in an accurate and timely manner, in line with HR procedures and with adherence to payroll cut-off dates.
  • Manage the new starter/onboarding process through the recruitment portal, ensuring all Right to Work documentation is obtained and DBS checks are carried out as appropriate to the role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an HR environment, with a particular focus on query resolution, process administration, HR systems, HR Policies, and basic employee relations.
  • Demonstrable planning and prioritizing skills.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Motivation to progress your career within HR.
  • Experience of all MS Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
