Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturer, based in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing production processes, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production processes, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging Lean principles and Continuous Improvement techniques.
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including COMAH and HACCP standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the Chemical Industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles, Continuous Improvement techniques, and HACCP standards.
