About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Management Specialist to join our team at Zebra. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and adoption of our products to positively impact our customers' experience and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate market and customer requirements for assigned product(s) through comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels, and Zebra offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions to develop and align on business objectives, owning development of business case by completing supportive research, authoring slides, and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Monitor and report business metrics against plan, recommending metrics to assess business performance and developing documentation of product and market requirements.
  • Own product lifecycle management for assigned product lines of moderate complexity, including tactical execution, managing custom requirements, developing and driving end-of-life plans, and execution of inventory objectives.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of development process and work to design and create the product offer, coordinating post-launch activities such as sales support, bid and quote support, and customer presentations.
  • Monitor financial performance of product lines and make recommendations for pricing action against revenue and margin objectives, recommending target product costs for new products and evaluating cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop pricing strategy with manager support and recommend product price to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Recommend promotion strategy by working in collaboration with Product Marketing department.
  • Support product launch by providing a comprehensive understanding of the value proposition and deliver product training to sales, sales engineers, technical support, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams and other key stakeholders to oversee new product development, validating development is on spec, identifying beta site targets, drafting, and implementing plans.
Requirements
  • Preferred Education: Degree qualified
  • Preferred Work Experience (years): Minimum 5 years of experience in Product management or customer-facing technical product role

    • Advanced level skills in Microsoft business applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
