Commissioning Manager for Substance Misuse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager for Substance Misuse to join our team at NHS England. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a critical role in commissioning high-quality health and justice services that meet the needs of vulnerable individuals.
Main Responsibilities- Commissioning high-quality care and improving outcomes for people held in places of custody and detention in the East of England.
- Promoting equality and reducing inequalities, upholding organisational policies on the promotion of equality.
- Creating an inclusive working environment where diversity is valued, and everyone can contribute.
- Commissioning services and leading programmes that drive down health inequalities in the prison population.
- Collaborating with commissioning partners to commission high-quality services for vulnerable people.
- Ensuring commissioning decisions are built on evidence-based medicine.

Requirements- Extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through post-graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.

- Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues, create solutions, and resolve problems.
- Evidence of planning and delivering programmes, projects, and services on time.
