The Role

This role is responsible for developing and executing timely, accurate, and effective CRM campaigns for the UK market, aligning with the marketing plan and business CRM strategy. The primary focus is on creating, deploying, and evaluating email campaigns, including marketing, triggered/journeys, and transactional emails to support pre and post-booking processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Deliver Personalized Email Campaigns: Create and execute targeted email campaigns that align with the marketing plan, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
  2. Support Global and Local Transactional Communications: Collaborate with the Digital Team Leader to coordinate global and local transactional communications, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
  3. Email Test and Learn Strategy: Develop and implement an email test and learn strategy to optimize email performance across triggered and marketing emails, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
  4. Customer Journey and Triggered Communications: Work with the Digital Team Leader and CRM Manager to develop and execute customer journeys and triggered communications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and regular review of results.
  5. Data Insight Projects and Audience Building: Collaborate with the CRM Manager on ad hoc data insight projects, surveys, and building audience lists for direct mail campaigns, providing valuable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  6. Email and CRM Reporting: Provide regular email, loyalty, and CRM reports to the marketing team and key stakeholders, covering marketing, triggered/journey, and transactional communications, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
  7. CRM Development and Support: Support the Digital Team Leader and CRM Manager on CRM development work, collaborating with agencies on BAU and projects, and ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
  8. CRM Process Champion: Act as a subject matter expert for CRM processes and workflows, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and ensuring accurate and consistent communication.
  9. Brand Consistency and Accuracy: Ensure all communications are accurate, on-brand, and consistent with the company's marketing positioning and key messaging, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  10. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, Head Office, and external stakeholders, including suppliers and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
  11. Customer Journey Support: Work with Customer Services to ensure CRM supports customer journey and processes, providing valuable insights and recommendations to inform business strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in Email Marketing: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar email marketing role, with a proven track record of delivering effective campaigns and optimizing email performance.
  2. CRM Email Platform Experience: Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM email platform, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  3. Marketing Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of best practices for email and direct marketing campaigns, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to representing information accurately and consistently.
  4. Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong analytical skills, with an interest in working with data and enthusiasm to continually improve and optimize campaigns, as well as strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize work and manage deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. CRM and Data Experience: Experience or understanding of CRM, with proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with data queries (preferred).
