At First Bus, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we're looking for a skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Vehicle Examination Team to ensure effective and efficient examination standards.
- Conduct Maintenance and Safety Audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Engineering Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety legislation.
- Provide guidance and support to other staff members as needed.
About You
- You must have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent certification and relevant work experience.
- Be familiar with the DVSA standards for defect categorization and annual testing.
- Have a strong understanding of workshop equipment safety and operation.
- Be willing to attend training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Hold a full UK driving license and a PSV/PCV license (or be willing to obtain one).
- Be flexible with working hours and job roles to ensure commitments are met.
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 or 12:00 - 20:00 shifts.
- Salary: £32,500.00.
