Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of electrical and lighting products to national and independent electrical wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell electrical and lighting products to national and independent electrical wholesalers
  • Manage a portfolio of 80-100 accounts, with a target turnover of circa £4m
  • Cover a territory from Coventry/Leicester to Leeds
  • Work closely with our manufacturing and distribution partners to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the electrical or lighting industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
