As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing our RDK video initiatives for Smart TV. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, troubleshooting, and delivering essential platform software, including device drivers and Linux kernel components.
  • Contributing to the progression of RDK and next-generation Smart TV technologies.
  • Collaborating closely with Squad Leads, Architects, Quality Assurance teams, SoC vendors, and Software leadership.
  • Engaging with the RDK open-source community to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Taking full responsibility for the delivery of critical software components.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in embedded software development within the consumer electronics sector.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
  • Familiarity with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
