About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Support Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Support Worker, you will be working primarily with our dynamic primary-aged students, assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, offering one-on-one support, and helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with classroom activities and provide individual support to students
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to meet the needs of students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • A caring and compassionate individual with a passion for working with children
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the needs of students
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in working with students with special educational needs is desirable
  • A strong team player who is also comfortable working independently
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
